Healer! You are doing it wrong!

So I join Haukke Manor today as a Whm and spent the first few minutes of the run being told how to play by a tank who was just this side of living in a home. I got agro on every single pull... often on his 1 mark.

So after the first boss he magic D/cs and we stand around for awhile before I got bored and decided to start pulling. Arc, Drg, Whm and we cleared from the first boss to the last boss (yes we downed the second boss with no tank) with no issues... no deaths even.

Last boss I knew we couldn't do without a tank but tried anyway and failed. So I dropped, changed to paladin and queued up and got back into the group. A healer joined a few seconds later and we took out the boss.

For an added bonus tank gear dropped in the instance... a lot of it.

Tl;dr Bad tanks are bad... and in many cases not even needed.

Besides the terrible writing and gloating, what is the purpose of this thread? Yes, bad tanks are bad. Bad healers are also bad healers, the same goes for bad DDs are bad DDs. Just like a bad thread is a bad thread.

yes I am gloating... I did everything myself and my dps had nothing to do with it.

Not sure if you know..... if you use any healing skill when the tank jus hit the mob. The mob will turn to u instead. Spamming healing like a mad rog does not help the tank too.

You forgot to mention in your post the fact that you were probably overhealing the shit out of the tank.

He took 50 damage? Better use cure 2!

I thought they say enmity is proportional to the amount actually healed, not the potential amount... so cure1, cure2, cure IV is all the same if you only heal 50.

Sure that is why I cleared most of a dungeon with dps for tanks. Also you should totally ignore my having completed the story with a tank.

I bet ya this nub Rochetm, cast regen on the tank at every pull, then complain why the mob agro him instead of tank.
