Inventory Issues...Please Help Yoshi...

I would like to know what is being done to address this issue of such limited space. Here is my problem:
- As you progress higher you gather mats that potentially are needed across all crafting classes which in turn have to be stored & takes up space. It's not only one but various.
- Sorting plain sucks. I have to sit around looking for items to craft since there is no search/sort option.
- We need more retainers. I am an achievement hunter & I am leveling crafting all at once to make things easier. It really sucks that I am at level 30 on all crafts and I barely can manage inventory space.
- Can't mail things to self nor alts. That would help if we could. I can make an alt and get more retainers to better manage my crafting/gathering mats.
- Finally as i level to stop crafting I get higher level mats which i have to store but then can't because my retainers & inventory is full as well as VERY VERY LIMITED to selling items on market boards so i can't even sell excess mats.

Also my pet peeve - all of these are DIFFERENT stones. How do I find the right one without mouse-overing each one every time!!! What a mess!



But, yeah my retainers are completely full and my inv usually is around 85/100. I have an alt account though so that helps with the storage... just a pain moving stuff back and forth.

You hit every button thats been bugging me about having 2 gather and 2 crafters all at 30 and now I'm running out of space on 2 ret's lol. I made an alt the other day for a mule and found out you can't send mail.... bummer. And the non-sorting ability... I have to set aside like an hour just organize it just a little. But I think it's this way because of PS3. Only being able to open ONE bag at a time is kinda ruff too lol. I still love the game though, would rather have that stuff and play then nuthin.

A sorting function is sorely needed and its supposed to be coming with patch 2.1

As for inventory space, yeah, I understand your pain (leveling all crafts at the same time too) and getting additional retainers would be awesome, however, we can always just stop being pack rats. I know that in the near future I'll be getting rid of the NQ version of materials that can be easily gathered through Botany and Mining (except those that are constantly used even in higher level recipees). I'll only focus on stocking up materials that can only be obtained directly from mobs.

EDIT: When they eventually add housing for individual players (which unfortunately is still far off) I hope they give us more storage space.

#1 - Let us craft from our retainers inventories.

#2 - Bump up our retainer inventories. Keep our limit of 20 open market transactions

#3 - Pipe Dream: Give us a retainer that holds our mats and auto sorts them to the right tab. If I could simply put "Entrust to Retainer" on my crafting assistant, and have my Alchmey Stuff to to Alchemy, my Lumber to to Woodworking, etc. Granted for BSM/ARM this would kinda suck, but its better than nothign.

#4 - Auto add all your own alts to your friends list.

#5 - Pipe Dream #2: If you can have a company chest, why can't you have an account chest? Yes yes, I know each character is an "Individual" however, lets me honest, if you have 2 characters you are going to share items between them.

Well it's not about being pack rats but everything is so limited as far as space and market boards. If we focus on one craft then we lose tons of money that we can bypass by just using mats you would otherwise discard or throw away which is senseless.
