Losing wired internet connection only while playing FF14

When you say Ethernet connection do you mean you are plugged in? Or are you on wireless?

his title says *wired*

I've had this problem now since launch and it's starting to get really annoying now. Whenever I play the game about 40 min later my ethernet connection will completely dissapear and won't come back until I restart. This issue only happens while I play ff14 and not any other games. Anyone have any idea what's causing this?

Do basic check if you have latest OS updates installed and latest NIC (network interface card) driver, also you can find some more information in system logs (start button>right click 'my computer'>manage>system tools>event viewer>windows logs>system) and there should be log around the time explaining what happened (sometimes in a cryptic way, you will need to use google to get answer)
