    [11006] [20641] [20643] A problem occurred while updating.

    Finally got someone to buy the game and it's already doing everything it can to make him quit before even playing.

    He has a physical copy and gets this error when the launcher tries to patch. I realize there are many threads with this problem, but none of the fixes worked.

    Funny thing is, the error popup says "Please restart FFFXIVARR (Beta Version)" even though it's installed from a disc.

    Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

    It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
