Nearing level 20, lost sight of quest hubs, or am I supposed to do fates?

So basically I started at level 1, and my hand was being held all the way to 17-18. There were quest hub leading to another quest hub, leading to another quest hub. I just followed and I didn't have to think.

I think at around level 18, the quests dried up, and leaving me with the Main Story quest. Which was fine. I followed that, and it led me to the 3 dungeons, "Satasha", etc, etc. And then it led me to killing Ifrit. And then to the 3 Grand companies, and then I picked my grand company.

My question is, are the quest hubs gone? Am I left just doing main scenario quest, and then do guildhests, or fates?

I was getting used to the WoW-style quest hubs, and now the dynamic has changed.

This is not a complaint. I'm just wondering how to adjust my playstyle now.

No, the main quests will lead you to new quests hub that is level appropriated. Just follow it.

There are so many quests, never did any F.A.T.E-grinding yet. Got SCH 50, CNJ ~ 32 and on the way to THM 26. Still got a sh*tload of quest.
