How do I get a Job???

Ok, I have searched every way I can think of and I can't find an answer.

How do I get a Job? My lancer is lvl 36, I want to move to dragoon but I have no idea what other class to level or once it is leveled, how do I change to the new job?

Oh! And what the heck are soul crystals?

The same person that gives you quests at 5/10/15/20/etc... gives you a quest at 30. Once you complete the quest, they give you an additional quest that unlocks when you have LNC at 30 and Marauder at 15 that will send you in the right direction.


Soul Crystals are what you get to change to your job. Its how you turn into a Dragoon

To add to what Aeika said, the quest will be locked until you level up the correct class. If you talk to them while the quest is locked, the description will say what class you need to level up to 15, Marauder in your case.
