Why does not need buffing PLD does not need nerfing

While my experience with binding coil goes as far as turn 2 a the moment, I have tanked all prior content with both warrior and Paladin, and i will always prefer Warrior as mi prime option for tanking on any given situation with slight preference with paladin on Caduceus.

I keep seeing threads on this forum "how to fix warrior" "nerf paladin" and while everyone takes stabs at warrior for being inneficient (how?) I can't help but remember 1.0 warrior was the tank of choice for lazy players or low skilled players, PLD being called a defficient tank, all Paladin took was some more upkeep and it became the tank of choice for experienced endgame content.

To me the case in 2.0 is simply just reverted, Warrior is not inneficient or subpar to Paladin it just takes some actual work and extra imput from the player to pull it off.
If anything the only downside it has is a design oversight, unified gear for both tanks, that is the only thing if anything they need to fix, give the warrior proper warrior gear.

You must be terrible at math, because no amount of player skill makes 95 > 100. PLDs are just flatly superior at tanking raid damage.

Warrior is supposedly superior against groups. Paladin is supposedly superior against single targets. The margin of superiority in both cases can supposedly be widened or narrowed, depending on gear and player skill level.

Basically, why does anyone even care? Just play what you want to play, and be the best that you can be at it.

Playing the game is unquestionably more fun than playing the numbers...

Edit: What the heck does the thread topic even mean???

Edit 2: The boldface lines are the point of my reply

Supposedly...But no in reality the warrior takes "way" more damage and paladin doesn't. The paladin can add tank well enough that bringing a war doesn't matter and thus he difference comes down to survivability which as a healer and a war i can tell you the warrior doesn't come close.

You know how I know you are full of shit? You don't have a Relic on WAR, and you don't have the Achievement for Binding Coil Turn 1 let alone Turn 2. Next time you try to pretend you have experience when you don't, might wanna disable other people viewing your achievements on Lodestone.

If I'm reading this right, you haven't cleared Turn 1, correct? I'm wondering how your group does Caduceus, since I'm not seeing how a WAR could MT that. . .

    Another drama thread...

Paladin is far better than war, i have a PLD and a war.

Already on titan you feel the difference, and more after him.

    That all.
