Are fates the only way to gain EXP

Hi,

I am just trying to find out is there other ways to lvl your character without having to numbing fates.

i may only be lvl 42 but only play a few hours a night and just find that near the end game, every few story quests ( i do all available side quests for the area as well) leave me being a lvl behind so i cant progress, so it leaves me with having to grind leves to unlock it. its starting to get boring and with only a few hours a night seems a waste.

ive been gaming since the commodore days so i know about how good games can be and about challenges. i may not be an "end game look at my gear" type of person and just really want to experience the story of FF14. I have been really enjoying this game but the later part just seems really "grindy" (yes i have played mmo's )

Quests and sidequests should get you into lvl 49 ish I think, for your first job. And when you try to level your second job, third job, fourth job etc, there's these :
- Battlecraft leves (Bad exp, not so much gills, random crap item) Not worth your allowance, better spend on Tradecraft
- Guildhest (Only did once, then never again, Bad exp, not so much gills)
- Dungeon (Not so much exp if you consider the time needed to get it done, need effort and a working group)
- Fate (Good amount of EXP for being mindless zerg, took only several mins, no brain needed, no effort needed, only need group that can smash buttons so you get the reward credits)

So yeah FATE is not the only way, but it's the easiest way.

Exp camps are pretty decent options. At some level ranges, and with a decent party setup, they are far superior to FATE grinding at times. The only downside is that good camps are fairly spread out in the levels.

I hope they'll remove Titan from the game.
