    Account Question

I am currently running both a PC and a PS3 game through the same SE account. I would like to separate the games and put my PS3 on a separate account, effectively paying to subscription fees. I was wondering if I can do that or if I would have to buy a whole new PS3 version of the game?

One SE account, multiple ffxiv accounts.

I have 4 ffxiv accounts, and I can log into them all at the same time, but paying 4 subscription fee's. Just create a new account with a ps3 disc and add it to your existing SE account.

Not sure why you'd wanna pay 2 subscriptions but I'm pretty sure its possible to seperate them. Just Add another account. The exact details on how to do so do not come to mind, sorry.

I think I understand what you're asking, and there's more to it. to play 2 separate characters at the same time you do need two separate FFXIV accounts, but if you already linked your playstation ID with an existing account, you need another PSN ID also. From what I understand you can only have one FFXIV to one PSN ID. Just create another PSN ID for free, then you are G2G.

    edit: spelling

Currently, my daughter and I play the same account, so we want them separated so that we can play at the same time. Hence the reason wanting to separate out the accounts.

You'll need to purchase a new copy of the Ps3 version and have it associate with her PSN account on your SE Master Account. That way you have two FFXIV service accounts, one attached to your ps3/pc version and one attached to her ps3/pc version. Sadly you'll have to buy a new copy to do this as the only transferability of the PS3 version will be towards your future PS4 version if you get a Ps4.

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.

Thank you. This is what I thought I would have to do, just wanted to confirm it.
