WHMs have a lot of issues with mana. In endgame content it helps to be running with at least 1 BRD for their mana regen ballad. Unfortunately it won't get much better for you.
Shouldn't need to depend on bard, I tell bards I run with to only mage ballad if I'm around 1k MP

With Eithers and Shroud, it will actually get easier if you just keep an eye on things.
