Once you finish the level 46 story quest there is literally nothing until you do the level 49 story quest. Once completed a couple of people in the waking sands point to you a few new quest hubs containing lv 47 and 48 quests. In my opinion they should have made the unlock for those quests the level 46 story quest and not the level 49 story quest. On the plus side doing those quests alone will get you from 49 to 50.
