Special task Force?

I'm starting to believe that the "Special Task force" for this game either works on both XI and XIV together, or consists of 1 person who works 1 day a week for 30 minutes.

Look the game has some problems, some worse then others, but I can't help but face palm when certain RMT bots are permitted to shout their nonsense with no retribution what so ever. I understand that "eventually" they will get banned, but how long on SE standards actually counts as "eventually"? There's one in particular (It's a hacked account) on Balmung named Riza Hawkaye who has (and this isn't an overestimation) been shouting for over 8 hours, I literally saw this person shouting, then I went to sleep, woke up to see people complaining about it, unblisted this person 8 hours later and they were still shouting.

I know that there are processes and investigations that have to be conducted before taking actions on these accounts(Especially for the hacked accounts who owners who want their accounts back without getting banned) but at the very least, it's not hard to see them bombing the shout with RMT websites and gil prices. You guys made a Mordion Goal in this game just like XI, use it for christs sake. Lock them up, then investigate.

How does everyone else feel about this topic? I just feel like 8 hours passing and a single shouter not being delt with is just ridiculous.

Considering that on accord to their own statistics 300 accounts have bein banned daily since day one, you're overreacting, it's just the impact of a new game. Truthfully these bans had an effect on the RMT, at least on my server ( price for 1 mill went from 6$ to 36$ )

If you missed the last report, they banned over 7000 accounts in a month or so.

I wouldn't really call it overreacting, Is it really too much to expect that someone bombing the shout chat nonstop via bot or w/e should be dealt with within 8 hours? Lord knows they're making enough money off this game to hire a few people to watch the shouts in 8 hour shifts.

I caught that, but it seems like they're just doing it in bulk like at the end of the week they just ban a huge list of names. I see no legitimate reason that they can't send these characters to Mordion Goal or Temporarily deactivate the account within the first hour of shouting, it just seems ridiculous imo.

I personally think that everyone should be forced to use an Authentication key/app w/e because it seems that these shouts are mainly coming from hacked accounts now.

Yes there is still a way to get hacked using one but it would make such a huge difference to what we are seeing at this moment.

If you read the credits at the end of the main story quest it lists special task force and GMs, you can count them all on one hand. The game probably required heavy investing and won't be "making" money for a while.

Funny enough that's exactly what our monthly subscription fee should be going toward. In fact I've played F2P games with better GM support than FFXIV.

sad SE has not learned anything from 1.0, all they wanted to do was save face
