You have already given up with that attitude
Hell if it is a money issue, im sure non of our fellow EU members would become mad if they charged us all 1 extra euro monthly. Just to get money for a server park.
(yes im just thinking FOR square Enix now)
Where in Europe? What are your ping times to server? What is your up/down? How did you find dodging Titan plumes, did you have to move before the cast bar appeared?
hmm...no....why you expect I have the same problem as you ?
yes I play at NA server but NA/EU have same data center so it is the same and I am playing from Denmark gmt+1, I have no issue with most of the red circlet beside titan WotL that I need to move before it being place because it is way to big (but that doesnt mean I cant get out even when I stand in center of the WotL and begin to run after it appear)
AT 08:00 in the morning I have what u describe. But as the day goes and more and more ppl start using the server (and other servers on the internett, bottle necks show up and you get lagg from your route to the server, and the server is overloaded. So we have a nice mix of FF servers overloaded and bottle necks on our way to the server. And here SE could make an vpn connection tunnel, like for example WTFast and other programs do, to make it a little better).
And no matter what u say when you are in EU no matter country ISP your ping is higher then our fellow US CA and JP players. You have a handicap. If you can play with or not is something other. And we that can play with it are "better" then the ones that arnt playing with it. We all walk back and forth to the server. The longer the road is the slower it goes.
So servers in EU is the solution.
you are wrong....even US have the same problem, because it is server side issue (SE server itself), they have to move as soon as the red circlet pop as well and not wait 1 sec and then magical move out w/o get hit.
and if the server is overload, isnt it better to increase the server...dont remember what it call ? host the server at Eu wont solve the overload

They are different issues, problems with net coding or the 0.3 polling on your character's position effect everyone, however on top of that on average someone from the EU will have more latency, higher chance of packet loss, etc when connecting to servers in NA than if they were connecting to an EU data center.you are wrong....even US have the same problem, because it is server side issue (SE server itself), they have to move as soon as the red circlet pop as well and not wait 1 sec and then magical move out w/o get hit.

It also leaves less room for error as it were, when game servers or NSP backbone hubs are under stress, which is exactly why many games have separate data centres for EU / NA, even some non-sub games like GW2 have separate data centres.
No, I just want Titan to be removed from the game.
True about server load. But ping is ping. And they have lower ping, but if the server load is the main issue, then we will c the ping problem when server loads isnt a problem anymore.
The best is ofcourse new better servers in EU and new better servers for JP and US/CA.
Is the game capped at a connection speed? Anyone have any information on this ? If I member correctly FFXI was capped. But still JP players could claim NM's easier then ppl outside JP. Since they had lower ping. And this is still an issue in FFXIV now. Maybe not the biggest issue as you describe Shneibel, US players also lagg. But ping is ping. And you will never have the same ping if your not on the same place with the same ISP.
