    PETITION: No future "combined piece" gear. (Head+Chest, etc).

    Since discussions about gear appearance as a hot topic ATM, might as well drive this point home as much as possible. This Petition requests SquareEnix discontinues the release of any future combined piece gear in Final Fantasy 14.

    An example would a piece of gear that fills both head and chest slot, such as the hooded robes or the infamous "trash can" tank gear. If Square wishes to continue using these design in future gear, we request they at least release them as separated pieces.

    This petition does not refer to gear already present in game, such as the mage & tank Darklight designs. I understand fixing gear already in game would be a major hassle and time that could be spent on far more valuable issues. It only requests the future gear releases not continue this unpopular and undesirable trend.

    I agree with this. I actually suggesting this in beta.

    It's very annoying having heavy darklight body taking up 2 slots, then I need to get 2 upgrades and replace them at the same time otherwise its not really an upgrade. Game should should have no more 2 slot items going forward.

    This is something I don't agree, I like these pieces. And going to an AF2 bit plus an ilvl60 bit is still an upgrade over DL, if not much. Just means you probably need to prioritise the body and head first really.

    (Well, it was for me on SCH, guess I can't comment on other jobs but I assume it'll be a similar story)

    Yes I agree.

    What the heck with that darklight tank gear helm that can't be detached? Couldn't tell the gender difference of the tanks. At least make it toggle-able so people can switch to hide and to unhide it.
