I see what you're saying now, it makes sense.
I think generally in that situation I would just say screw it and spam heavy for SS proc XD
And for general purpose fighting, always windbite over venomous.
For that, you know, 0.01% dps increase lol.

Two trash mob DPS questions, if you are trying to kill something quick are you better off spamming SS since it hits twice and is twice as likely to critical? The other is, if I put dots on one mob and then put dots on another mob will they both tick and double my chances for BL proc?
Yes neon. If you apply dots two more than one enemy, each and every tick will have a chance to reset bloodletter. Applying two dots on two enemies after popping internal release will give you resets every two seconds, it ridiculous and if you dont have a good tank and healer, it can be dangerous applying dots on another enemy and doing so much damage. But with good parties ive never had trouble. Im not so sure what you mean about straight shot hitting twice though, because it doesnt lol. As for the windbite and venomous bite order, yes windbite should be used first, I didnt mean to spread bad info. But really the differences are so small, it doesnt really matter for trash, or even bosses because you should be reapplying both as soon as they come off so it wouldnt even matter until the very last time you apply them and venomous is 3 seconds ahead for one tick. but really when keeping your dots up, the most important thing to remember is making sure they are both up for those resets.
Thank you Ausaric, and yes I was mistaken in my head it hits twice because of the animation but of course it only hits once. Well that is good, a lot of times my threat bar can get brimming from BL procs, so at least I can move over to another mob apply dots then come back and probably finish the primary target with pulling it.
