From what i've read leveling rep on WoW was worse and i've played alot of Korean grinding MMOs in the past now they were bad.

I agree with this, WP, seem to have people that are more relaxed and fooling around, AK has people that are more in the No talky, efficient group. That being said, I HATE Tonberry king >_<If you're not looking to be "efficient" (ie. won't run any other dungeons), Wanderer's Palace is pretty fun. Stalkers are pretty fun to run from - it always ends up with "OMGGGGG STALKER RUN FOR YO LIVEEEEEES!", and of course, Tonberries. It's a good place to run as well if you do not yet have your Titan/Relic Shield.
Otherwise there's Hard Mode Primals.
Unless you can't force yourself to get out of the repetitive grind for the efficient run to end game, then those are my suggestions. Take it easy and enjoy things as they come.
What? Are you trying to read my mind now? Fully expected to farm, got what I want, am happy.
I'm on 1.8k fates, 256 dungeons so far. Nowhere near hardcore, but meh. I still do my fair share of farm.

spiritbinding level 45+ HQ white jewelries, helm, belt and gloves (melded with any cheap materia to increase spiritbonding rate by 20%) makes it worth your while, 12 CM runs netted me about 1.2m gold (non legacy server) or 900k-1m gold without selling the philosophy items. make sure to get mats of the spiritbind equips and ask someone to make it for you, if you buy the equips directly from marketboard, your net gain will be a lot lower, I gathered the materials and ask for a crafter to craft them all to HQ, 1k tip per craft, the tips cost me 57k, and the materia melding (250 tip each) cost me 14720, the raw materials cost me around 30k. so the investment is around 100k, and after 12 CM runs, you get 1200 philosophy points, with lots and lots of expensive materias to sell.

Well, with our FC we pretty much optimized those runs at their limit. We clear CM in just over 20 mins. AK in under 20 minutes. (Both using our own developed version of speed running)
Do it with your FC, not in duty finder and it should be way less painful.
I said the same exact thing in a linkshell last night. Whether it's gathering or Philo farming, I'm always doing something else at the same time.
As for the OP's question, distractions from the mindless grinding helps me personally. With 2 screens i can play the game while watching tube or whatever. The content we have now and the means to get the gear just lacks variation.
No need to be so defensive... Worded that wrong, was actually talking about myself.
I expected a gear grinder, I had just hoped for, well, something more. No one to blame but myself for that though, it was just wishful thinking rather than being based on any real information about the game.

If 2.1 doesn't change this, a lot of people will probably quit. =/I said the same exact thing in a linkshell last night. Whether it's gathering or Philo farming, I'm always doing something else at the same time.
