/Tell during duty

Every single other MMO with cross-server technology found a way to do it.

If it's a design decision, I heartily disagree with it. If they think people will harass others through /tell, so they disabled /tells in a dungeon, that's a bogus excuse.
It doesn't stop people from harassing at all - they just do it in party chat. You're not going to stop toxic players. That's what the blacklist is for--Which doesn't work cross-server?

Also would like to be able to invite people we know to help fill a spot after someone DC's; I suppose that wouldn't be fair to those in the queue though.

But I agree, I don't see why we can't send tells. I can still FC and LS chat.

Given that players can be reached via LS, FC, and voice-comms, what's the need for the extra layer of accessibility?

If we had to enable something, I'd much rather have access to my FC console than to /tell.

They could always restrict it to only letting people who are on your friends list /t you while in a dungeon or instance.

That should be an option already, inside or outside of duties. I don't want tells from people I don't know, period.

With all the other issues that need to be sorted out with dungeons/duty finder, like entering dungeons with "join in progress" that are completely empty just so your forced to re-que, I am pretty sure /t during run is last on list for this system.
