Thinking i may have had too much to drink last night i shook off the random event and went to do an AK run.After the lovely quick run i then looked at my gear and thought shit i need to repair soon so i may aswell do it now.Nek minnit,went to repair said not enough Gil avail, /wtf had 3 gil on me,from 29-30k,checked retainer, also missing 400k, life was absolutely GG at this moment.Noticed my SE account had no changed PW (which normally they will do after hacking you) email account PW had not been changed with either.Wtf is happening here..So i sent in a ticket to SE and now awaiting for a hopefully positive reply, because i am now completely screwed.So i changed my pw's scanned my pc for everything under the book (nothing found at all).
Plus the fact i've been waiting for my SE one time password token to arrive for the past 3 weeks, this is kind of a joke right now.Long live prosperity and the new age Robbin hoods!Only SE will save me now to keep playing.

Always make unique passwords for every account. One time passwords can be from any smartphones. Problem solved.

When things like this happen people always say "MY COMPUTARZ NO VIRAZZ~!~!" but they use the same password for every single account they use online. One of the sites they use gets compromised, BAM.

Or it could be SE testing the world transfers and it wiped GIL from certain accounts.

Or the GIL obtained could have been bought from RMT which was nuked which in turn nuked from the legit sale.

Or she got drunk and spent it all.

The problem is i've been waiting for a one time token from SE for about 2-3 weeks now.. You can tell me all the ideas about unique pw's etc under the sun but the point is the info is taken from SE databases. No problem solved till that is, or till i get my one time pw token. I had pw's different for every account i own on anything. Please tell me something new (Corthalis) because i couldn't fit any of what i've just mentioned in the 1000 character cap But i understand why you wrote it, you had no idea that i already knew everything you were typing :P

Also Lung, no transfer , no RMT, all legit made from leveling and selling potash, and played too many mmo's drunk to know better if i spent money Especially when i passed out while mining at copperbell mines ^_^ ( another thing that couldn't be mentioned in the 1000 character cap)

The pure fact is SE need more quality control over their Databases. I've been hacked once on WoW, then i got a key token and never since had problems, even for other games it's never happened bar games that are mmo's. It's always a database problem on their end.

Especially after their new list of banned accounts, I do believe something else has to be going on. I don't believe all these people got their information stolen from another game, there is just WAY to many. IF it is coming from another game, why don't they just 'hint' to us what game it is. If they have the gal to blame it on obviously another mmo, why have none of us heard about it??
So, either they are 1. just cracking the password through multiple attempts 2. obtaining it through SE database or 3. it's coming from a 3rd party site. Doesn't have to be a gil selling site, could be one you thought was(and looks) legit to find a guide through a dungeon or how to level faster.

Fansites, completely legit and harmless, get hacked all the time, their list of users and passwords stolen and often the Admins don't even know. And the majority of people dislike remembering multiple passwords so they tend to use the same few over and over, as such the hackers out there have huge lists of account names, emails and passwords.

Didn't mean you buying RMT, what i was trying to get at was the character who did obtain RMT Gil used that Gil to purchase things off you or the Gil was generated using the "Gil Cheat" which in turn was nuked by SE (if they are doing such things) and some of the gil you had in your vast bank account was tainted it went to heaven along with the illegal gil created

But we can throw theories left right, up and down and between our legs all day long until SE get back to you and restore you Gil Data

There is a smartphone key app for iOS and Android. Just search for Square Enix Token on your respective OS app stores. I'm using the Android one myself. I prefer the smartphone app version, as if I had a physical one, I'd probably lose it. Plus, the smartphone app is free.

Haha, i've refused to join the iphone fashion, i've stuck to brick prepaids so i don't have to ever get mad at losing it or smashing it Otherwise i would take the Iphone app option straight away the moment i bought this game. Even then i heard the *phone apps* are not safe.,,whether or not that is true. I haven't signed up to any fansites also, but it like the days of being a blizz subber, i've come to the conclusion that there is a possibility of inside jobs to all this. The cockiest thing is i've been spammed by gil sellers all day today as if i should be buying my own gil back haha, the irony.
