Not Really.. I never take hate as a healer.. I am quite confident then with saying that a good healer will not take hate (or minimal hate) all dependant on the tank of course. It's mages who spam medica who take the hate, over healing everyone.

I proved my point in a lowbie dungeon, running with FC friends and a DF healer, the healer kept stealing hate cos every time more than one person took damage they cast medica and then cos they got hit they cast medica again.. and again..Then next time I switch to my CNJ. I never took hate and throughout the whole dungeon I only used Medica once, I even dps'd the whole thing and took no hate!

Whenever I would get blamed for a party wipe because I died to agro I always say. A tank is only as good as the healer and the healer is only as good as the tank. The tank dies without me and I die without the tank.

Actually, if you go full blast on healing, you can easily pull aggro when there are multiple adds. Not a big deal with single target. If there any adds, you'll be pulling some threat if you go full out. At least as a WHM. This can be mitigated if you're careful and watch the threat bars.

Lukcily I've been grouping with other WHM's that keep regen on the tank. So they get the adds for me.

That one is your fault then. If you let the bees come straight to you without casting A. Surecast B. (divine) Medica II C. Shroud of Saints D. Almost anything besides letting yourself get three hit. A WHM Can tank the bees by self healing alone. But yeah I do get the intent of the post. A Tank can be horrible and blame everyone but himself because he just wants a WHM to keep him topped off. Besides Medica 2 being used on the party during wall I don't heal anyone but myself. You shouldn't have to if the party is doing their own job correctly.

At the end of the day we're HEALERS not MIRACLE workers, but i think thats the main problem every other player has even my friends have a go at me when they die xD but yeah i remember during the stone vigil fight i lagged big time and so did the other DPS on the team so yeah i died and yeah my whole team hated me, one of them even made a comment saying " it's ok for a DPS to die but not the healer" o.0

Am a smn I have most dark light gear I rarely seen any one talk bad about the healers I all ways seen people talk bad about the smn and that all ways makes me up set as a whm on xi and xiv I know how hard it can be as a healer so I all ways stick up for them as well as smn just people getting up set due to the run not going there way so they have to blame some one but now let's say your a pld in lv 20 gear trying to do Titan I would be let's try it but am saying to my self it won't work but I never say it to some one

I have just started playing a Healing class (CNJ, about to get WHM once I do the job quest) and luckily, have yet to be blamed for any wipes. I've played BLM to 50 and never raged at healers, they've been pretty decent throughout the levels. And playing a Healer myself as really made me realise how much of a demanding job it is. I've also came to realise how annoying DPS are. It's so tempting to just not heal someone for being stupid... (then I think to myself, I wonder how many times I've been the stupid DPS? It's an enlightening experience.)

This conversation happened to me today in ST:

Tank: Yo, healer you need to beef up healing
Me: We wiped because y'all stood in fire
Tank: I mean don't you have cure II/III?
Me: Yeah, and I use cure II.
Tank: Odd, I keep seeing Cure I. I don't think you're using Cure II.
Me: I use it when you need it. Otherwise I use Cure I to proc free Cure II, and it is more mana efficient. I assume you have never healed ever.

We eventually got past the conflict.

Of further interest: I am a healer. Sleeping a mob counts as healing for me. In fact, putting a mob to sleep is the cheapest and strongest heal I have. I wish tanks/DPS would stop trying to faceroll the content and pay attention to what the healers are doing.

I had no idea WHM had sleep lol.. I was BLM so I was the sleeper, then I FATEd my ACN to 30 so I could get SCH and be the healer myself. So now that I am a tank and I was seeing sleeps happening without a THM i was so confused lol.

But you are right, sleep is a great spell and needs to be utilized
