It's so easy to blame the Healer!!

Getting a little tired of this and I know other healers on my server are too cos i have had lengthy shout and tell conversations about it lol..

If something goes wrong it is so damn easy to blame the healer and when everything goes right it's the DPS who get praised.. it really irritates me.

I run AK with my FC and we clear it no deaths, or like one random death..but we do it well and there are no problems with my healing. I am confident in my ability to heal.

Yet when you end up on the Duty Finder and something goes wrong people instantly think "DEEERRRP SOMEBODY DIED.. HEALERS FAULT" it's happened twice today:

but in AK.. Tank got repelled off the side just before bees spawned, bees went straight for my faery and then to me and i got 3 shotted. DPS says "why did we die" i replied "tank fell" .. "why did WE die" .. /grrrr .. i just told him straight, he thought cos he had relic he was immune from the blame on the dps check.

Of cause it is never the tank or dps fault!!!

As the healer, you should always cast you Invincibility Forever skill on them.

Tons of tanks and DPS know it is there. Lvl 1 skill. Sadly as healers we so blur till cannot find it.

You're a healer. You're suppose to perform miracles all the time. Don't you know that is why DPS play their class? No responsibilities other than DPS. And nice looking weapons. They have the easiest job. Wait until they reach coil when they have to start doing more. "I don't have time to cast ballad." Also DPS outnumber you. 2 DPS in group to 1 healer and 1 tank. "Yeah we did great didn't we. So much damage. I did number 1! Yeah I come in at number 2! /highfive." Meanwhile tanks and healers are like "Riiiigggghhhttttt."

I love teasing DPS. Don't take anything I say seriously or to heart. I still love you all! With all that being said, it is still a very high percent to beat the wall with the tank falling off. I've done it plenty of times.

If your DPS are good sure, I've done it too. Funny though, I had a DF group in there yday with two relic DPS and we almost died to being pushed back too far lol. I really have no idea how that happened, I even DPSd myself before the first repel. I didn't say anything though, we all have bad days sometimes.

That one is your fault then. If you let the bees come straight to you without casting A. Surecast B. (divine) Medica II C. Shroud of Saints D. Almost anything besides letting yourself get three hit. A WHM Can tank the bees by self healing alone. But yeah I do get the intent of the post. A Tank can be horrible and blame everyone but himself because he just wants a WHM to keep him topped off. Besides Medica 2 being used on the party during wall I don't heal anyone but myself. You shouldn't have to if the party is doing their own job correctly.

I have always said that if i was a whm the wall would probably be easier MedicaII like a baws!

Faery is too stupid on the wall, just sits in the purple, i think they should make it, if they are on heel and you don't take damage they shouldn't, fair enough if they are placed or you are late with your run, but she'll just sit there trying to swim in the purple sludge lol.

But yes, it was my fault, i did forget to cast invincibility on the party before we went in lol

Based on the information provided, if the DPS don't readjust to the situation of the tank falling and the wall wasn't down enough where their damage could kill it, then you cannot be blamed for the party's defeat. In an incident like that, the remaining party would all need to take corrective action, as no one individual can turn the fight around in a fatal incident.

Just Place her in the middle. Heavy isn't going to hurt her much, it's Slow that gets annoying.

Not Really.. I never take hate as a healer.. I am quite confident then with saying that a good healer will not take hate (or minimal hate) all dependant on the tank of course. It's mages who spam medica who take the hate, over healing everyone.

I proved my point in a lowbie dungeon, running with FC friends and a DF healer, the healer kept stealing hate cos every time more than one person took damage they cast medica and then cos they got hit they cast medica again.. and again..Then next time I switch to my CNJ. I never took hate and throughout the whole dungeon I only used Medica once, I even dps'd the whole thing and took no hate!

Yes, because Scholars have Medica II and Shroud of Saints too.
