    There was a very bad thread about this when one of the Developers was playing around on Sleipner with Dev Tools during Beta and it sparked a huge controversy between someone who was claiming to be of Norse heritage, claiming they should be able to have a Sleipner mount and the entire beta community at the time. So lets not spark that horrible debate again..

    I'd also like to restate that JOBS WILL NOT BE RECEIVING THEIR OWN SPECIFIC MOUNTS; Only classes will be receiving their own specific mounts. In other words if Fenrir is announced as the Arcanist mount; Then it will be for both Scholar and Summoner as well.

    As with gaining the Unicorn mount; it is a Class specific quest you get as a Conjurer and you can not turn it in as a White Mage.

    Speaking of Sleipner... why does it have 4 legs in this game? Did Odin kill the real Sleipner and is trying to make us believe this current horse is Sleipner? I agree that no one other than Odin should be able to ride it, but they need to actually give the right version to Odin for it to matter.

    I think Sleipnir only had 6 legs in V,VI,VII,VIII, & IX lol III,IV,XI,XIII,XIII-2 it had only 4 legs

    He is also the darkness element primal and thus his mount is deserved only by those who utilize the dark arts.
    Hence, THM will get Sleipner.
    Since first I saw him this was all I ever wanted.
