Videogames are a vector, not the problemThe problem JackD is the fact you think video game addiction is the illness as do many ignorant people and that is just the catalyst to an underlining problem. The people who succumb to extreme game addiction have a mental illness period and video games catch the flak for it. No matter what those people were doing whether it was playing games, collecting junk, or even being self harmful like cutting themselves or any other million possibilties of things they could do they will always go to the most extreme because they have a preexisting mental illness. Whether they are bi-polar, schizo, or lack self confidence people always look for something else to blame instead of actually blaming the real problem itself.
