    Part 3

    Will there be adjustments to duty finder to create a party makeup for the specific instance?
    Many fights do not need 2 tanks 2 healers and the rest dps, and some depend on having at least one member on a specific job. This has led to the duty finders automatic feature being used less and less in favor of manual party creation as with the difficulty of the current content, it is useless.

    1. Is there any updates on the “katagami” Vanity systemthat was mentioned in Letter IV?


    2. Will there ever be added an incentive to have multiple characters? It says at the Mog Station before you pay that it is recommended you upgrade from entry to standard account, yet having more then one character seems pointless due to the class system.
    Would it be possible to make alt characters like "Skins" you wear and have all the class level and character development connected to your account? Or at least have this be an option?

    My questions are as follows.

    1. Can you please elaborate a bit on how exactly people with large amounts of gil are being banned? My friends and I have been worried, we've been saving up gil since launch in anticipation of housing and were wondering if we are at risk. I've personally been hoarding up the allagan coins that can be sold to NPC's. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling a bit worried.

    2. Are there any plans on addressing Materia Stats and item stat caps? Currently, the stat caps on gear is quite low, so much so that both I and my LS mates feel at a loss at how we're to best use Materia. For example, most gear that I've seen will not allow any additional of a displayed stat - regardless of level. This is doubly so if that stat is something that your class calls for for example, Warrior and VIT or White Mage and MND.
    So if that stat is VIT, I cannot add any more VIT to that piece of gear. Then, sometimes, I can't even add a stat that I want even if it isn't listed. So using VIT as an example, let's say I have a body piece that has STR, DET, and ACC but I also want to add VIT to it. When I go to meld materia, I can't add materia because for that body piece the cap for VIT has already been reached even though that body does not have a displayed VIT stat.
    I hope that makes sense.

    3. Are there any plans to make plans to make elemental resistances worth investing into? Currently, elemental resistances are pretty much useless.

    4. Are there any plans to allow for crafting of multiples during a synth- allow me to explain. Currently, when crafting Rivets or Rings, it is more or less a 1 to 1 ratio (ignoring the cost of shards). So one Ingot = one Rivet or one Ring. It would be helpful if such items such as rivets and rings had multiple yields per synth. The cost of using up a whole ingot to make one ring/rivet doesn't make sense, even when ignoring the cost of shards. Once you add the cost of shards into the process it becomes very problematic.

    5. Are there plans to have certain mobs spawn and despawn during certain times of day? For example, undead spawning at night and despawning at dawn.

    6.Will patch 2.1 also see the introduction of more quests?

    7. Are there any plans to address the game raining gear upon players? Currently, because players can get gear from quests and they can get even better gear from dungeons, crafting has suffered.

    any plans in the future for...

    1) fixing the healer level 3 limit break do that it doesn't raise everyone with the debuff? seems dumb for a limit break to have this penalty.
    2) addressing dragoon vulnerability during jumping actions? like the pathing damage they take if they use a jump that moves through enemy aoe damage elements on the ground or the death that follows a jump from animation lock? such as titan landslide after a dragoon jump landing.
    3) addressing vulnerability of limit break users while in animation lock. such as death to plumes in most primal fights or landslide.
