    Question about Barding and Grand Company Changing

    If I buy the Crested Barding from one Grand Company and then decide to switch, do I still get to use the Crested Barding from the first company? Does it disappear? Does it change to the Crested Barding of the new company? Or does it just become unusable?

    You can switch barding whenever you want and you can wear any barding even if you don't belong to that GC. But you do have to switch GC and purchase the other barding with the same seals that it belongs to. Gear and some other items can only be equipped when you're part of the matching GC. Also, when you switch GC you have to wait 30 days before you can do so again.
