Heavy Armor Aesthetics

I like having different armor designs, but the 'trashcan' armor seems like novelty gear that more eccentric players would wear.

Kind of like Like Smough's or Catarina armor in Dark Souls.

Yeah, the trashcan is pretty lame, I wish they had a better mainstream heavy armor set...

Imagine if Darklight/Darksteel armor looked more like:

Huh?.. Most of the designs from that game have horns and spikes all over them.

While we're on topic, some of the Body Armor designs from the FFXII judges would also work well for heavy armor in this game. (we'd need more conventional helmets obviously)

Not touching the Darklight chest piece. Already have AF2 helmet and AK chest, and if anyone ever gives me crap about not wearing full DL, I blacklist them.

Definitely this. SE has the ability to make some awesome looking heavy armour. Till then my WAR stays as is

I was in the same boat, except for guys, that hoplite tabard looks pretty close to a dress, hopefully I get my allagan chest next week, otherwise it's 2 more weeks till I can get my af2.
