Suggestion: Hide own name.

Yes i would like to see a "Hide you own name only" function as well as a "Hide everyones name but your own option" hiding everyone's name but your own option would be nice for ScreenShots and very high traffic areas.

I really hope they add the option to toggle your name. I don't think I need to be reminded who my character is, not quite that slow. Being able to toggle the HP bar would be nice as well. I don't see why we can't just have a toggle option for pretty much everything. I like to keep my screen as uncluttered as possible. I don't need to be barraged by information all of the time. Not to mention, I have to keep my screen resolution low, so my screen space is precious to me.

Plus your own name is kinda obtrusive as well :S ... This option was never added into FF 11 even last time I checked and it's something that I wanted for a loooooong time. Both name AND hp bars should be toggable on and off for yourself only and everything/everyone else on a separate option. Shouldn't take long or be hard to implement I imagine, as we have options for "all" atm anyways. Having my own name float above my head makes me a saaaaad panda

I agree with what most people have said on this Topic.
A toggle to hide our own name + Hp bar is needed to enjoy the game as zoomed in/out as we want without our names getting in the way.
Also we are 10 pages in and a reply about everyones intrest would be nice

bumping because I'm sad this wasn't added in 1.19 I really hate my name blocking the center of my view >.< I know who I am and I love my name but I don't need it displayed 24/7 while I play...

Signing this. Our names are displayed in our health bar, don't see why it's necessary to have it hovering over our heads too, especially since we can't switch it off without switching off everyone elses name too.

i actually like playing with all names (except party members!) off.

the problem with doing that in this game is when doing a leve quest there is no distinction between leve mobs and regular mobs when a mob is highlighted.
the parchment insignia only appears next to the mobs hovering name, not your targets name.... did that make sense?

Yeah, I was really sad that this didn't end up in 1.19. Maybe next patch, hopefully.
