Lost my relic weapon quest!

Any tips or help would be appreciated here.
I was starting my relic weapon quest with Nedrick, He sent me to Rowena who in then turn sent me to Gerolt. I talked to Gerolt then after that i got nothing, no quest, no info on where to go or anything, any ideas?? after looking online i think he was supposed to send me to the mine to get the broken weapon but he didnt. confused here, didnt change my job/class or anything, any help would be much appreciated

Same thing happened to be I just restarted my quest. it sucks but eh what can you do.
