I have seen a lot of elitist crap as of lately on Midgardsormr and other servers and frankly it is annoying! I think if you are an elitist pos or have an elitist fc or ls you are no better than someone that puts other people down all day and have a selfishness tautology problem. This means, you want, want, want, and do not like to give! I have seen this and it makes me sick to see people argueing and fighting over a game or in game virtual gear. Does that really make any sense? No it does not. It makes you seem greedy and inconsiderate towards others. If you want to be a good fc or ls, do NOT put the /shout elitist crap in your /shouts like "No noobs," or "Only experienced player's," or Experienced with gear onry," this makes people not want to join your shell or even want to be a friend.

Of the 3 things you quoted, 2 are not "elitist" at all, and the first of the 3 is borderline. Wanting people to be geared and/or experienced is not elitist.

Calm down its just a game. If you really think people wanting to do coil are not going to want geared and experienced people then well I don't know what to say.

you try doing titan with people with less than full darklight and at least garuda weapons. There are some battles you cant win on hopes and dreams alone, you need the gear to back it up. Yes yes, i know gear isnt everything and gear does not = skill. But you'll find 100 low dps people in low gear before you find 1 low gear person with high dps.. and no one has the time to do titan 100 more times just for the sake of doing it. it wouldnt be a problem if people properly geared themselves through armor progression and not tried to skip ahead. before you try joining a serious garuda or titan pt, watch the videos, join a couple in the duty finder as test runs to get familiar.

These are battles you cant just pretend to be experienced with and wing it, because position is everything, dps is everything and with most groups, 1 dead person causes a domino effect where everyone else follows.

As for CM, prae and AK. people want experienced people for speed runs. if you dont want to be judged for your gear, join a regular run. If you do a speed run with half your DD in low quality gear, it isnt a speed run anymore.

What I am saying is that you do not have to put the person down, as I have seen. How you think you make them feel? it makes them feel low. Also, if they have gear and maybe it is like 2-3 pieces of af or what not, be positive to them and not so negative every single time. It is frustrating to the player, and that is how your fc or ls will lose people, and quickly.

I think there's a certain point in the game where it is okay to act that way, that being endgame. It's optional, hard, and by then you rightfully should be expected to carry your own weight. I can see where it would even seem offensive for somebody to queue in with you and basically waste your time because they aren't prepared to contribute properly.

But I know you're not upset about that, you're upset about people who put other people down, and I hate that too.

it isnt putting people down. If you still have AF, there are runs you can do and there are people who want optimal stuff. They arent saying people with AF are trash or beneath them, they just dont have the stats to do what they need. Say warrior, ive seen warriors try to tank garuda sitting at 5.8khp with defiance on. well, she hits for 1.6k (to me with full darklight) and her slipstreams get close to 3k. A warrior at that level will be destroyed, and it doesnt matter how nice and supportive you are to them, they dont have the stats to do the job.

1. It's funny how there are so many elitist on servers that are only 5 weeks old.

2. It's a video game...I could care less if someone is standing there showing off their armor...it doesn't bother me. They don't impress me.

3. This game needs to add a feature where you cannot enter a dungeon until your armor meets minimum requirements.

No. When I see people get killed by stupid, easily dodgeable shit, I get pissed off. Call me elitist if you want; I'm there to get my progression done and get my gear, not to watch you be a ditz for four hours and giggle about it at my expense. Believe me when we say that you are the only one laughing at your mistakes (in most situations)

If you want to avoid the gear checks and crap, then you should be an a progression FC where you can learn and progress where people will hold your hand and help you up when you screw up. PUGs are there to get their shit done with people who have the gear and have done it before.

Trying to beat AK with a group full of first timers who are content to just screw around and blame other people for the wipes is AGONY. Do try not to be part of the problem.
