    How to WAR?

I was just wondering how does WAR work? I jave WAR lved. to 28 from 1.0 and I haven't touched it yet in 2.0. I'm a PLD not best geared but I hardly get time to play so im working on it though and I just love to tank and I want to tey war out as well so I was just wanting to know what is the rotations and skills I want to be using and why once I have a good understanding and got all the goodies I want for PLD I want to do WAR. <3 tanking

Warrior is fun, although right now we are sourly underpowered compared to a paladin in end game content. But I'd say go ahead and level one I'd be shocked if they don't have it simi balanced by the time you are ready to do end game as a warrior.

Warrior is a mitigation by recovery tank while paladin is a reduced incoming damage mitigation tank. Its a totally different play style.

Play what you want to play. I have both PLD and WAR at 50, but I still play WAR. I *know* that WAR brings nothing useful to the table that PLD doesn't bring (or bring more of), but I don't enjoy PLD; I enjoy WAR and, because I play games like this to *enjoy* them, I play my WAR. I would enjoy my WAR *moreso* if I didn't feel like I was bringing the effectiveness of groups I join down, but that's not enough to make me swap to a sword.

The rotations are rather obvious, given that they're combos: Butcher's Block is your high enmity/damage combo and Storm's Eye is your buff combo. Storm's Path is worthless and should only be used as a finisher for Maim until you get Storm's Eye at 50. Generally, the combo rotation you want to do is BB>SE>BB>Fracture: it loses some uptime on the SE debuff but averages out to higher damage and enmity generation.

The rest of your stuff is at least situationally useful with the exception of 2 of your job abilities: Unchained and Steel Cyclone. The only real use for Unchained that I've ever seen is Infuriate>Unchained on a pull and, even then, I've always felt that it's a waste of Infuriate. Steel Cyclone is complete and utter rubbish, mainly because the resource cost is too damned high for what amounts to an AoE that deals twice as much damage as Overpower but generates the same amount of enmity. You can remove both of those from you bars completely without any ill effect.
