Having to stop movement for various combat activities

I was just wondering what people's thoughts are on this? I think having to stop running to pull out your weapon is pretty stupid and unnecessary, makes the whole thing a lot more inconvenient that it needs to be.
I also think that having to stop moving to begin casting a spell, then being able to move during, then having to stop to cast it is pretty stupid too. In my opinion it would be better if you could run when you start casting, then during, and then have to stop to cast.

Any thoughts? It just seems inconvenient for no real balancing reason.

I agree, its annoying and makes it very non fluid.

I totally agree. It's not a major issue but it is annoying and makes things feel a little slow and sluggish.
