How to fix RMT and Bots

You underestimate the size and scope of RMT companies, stolen cards and large amounts of money supplied by players drive them, the best deterrent is not to buy gil. As for bots I have a post here http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...erification%29 as an idea to deal with the bots that drive down our economy.

IDK, adding another hurdle that cuts into their margins seems like a big turn off. Cheaters and thieves will always choose the path of least resistance. Just a thought, couldn't hurt, right now it's a horrible problem.

Credit card authentication isn't a hurdle. As someone already said, most RMT accounts used for hunting, gathering, spamming, trading, etc are all compromised/stolen accounts.
