Hi guys,

On the beta forums I made a post with a similar title which basically called out everyone posting the most ridiculous ideas, things like 'black hairstyles', 'change the combat system', and other such pointless things.
This was due to it being an Open Beta and people thinking they were Beta Suggesting instead of Beta Testing.
Obviously there were some good suggestions that were implemented and that will always be the case, but like the above mentioned plus more, there were some that were just not worth posting.

This thread I posted got removed for 'harassment' and me banned for the beta forum (SE love throwing those bans out without investigation prior), but it also got over 1000 likes on the OP in under 24 hours.

So here is what I'm going to do for you, so people can stop clogging up the General Discussion with pointless crying about things i'm personally going to provide the simple answers to the most commonly complained about things on these forums.

Gil Earning Too Hard:
Converting level 49-50 jewelry - NQ gives you 5x level III materia which sell from 8-20K each.
Cost - 10K (5 NQ jewlery pieces)
Makes - 50K minimum
Sell Tomb Materials - You can use tombs to buy potash and other high end materials and they sell for 30K+ each and cost 125 tombs I believe.

Everyone who isn't complaining about 'gil generation being too hard' is either gathering or crafting and making plenty of gil.

Elitist/Griefers/CM Cutscene Skipping:
So there are people playing 'ruining the community' and making people have certain gear etc to do certain instances/dungeons etc. Add them to your blacklist/blocklist?
People are getting abused in CM for not skipping cutscenes...
No one CAN force anyone to skip CM cutscenes, if you want to watch them, watch them. Who cares what some players saying to you in a chat. If they hurt your feelings by saying mean things, report them for harassing you.
Solutions:
- Add them to your blacklist (the shortcut is to type /blacklist <name>)
- Report them for harassment. The in game reporting platform is easy and effective.
- Watch the cutscenes if you want to
- Find a LS/FC or a group of players who are not Elitist and party with them...

Bots/Teleporters/RMT:
- Blacklist them (/blacklist <r> for RMT. Set it as a macro)
- Report them. The in game reporting platform is easy and effective.

Out Of Content:
The fact they have been talking non-stop about patch 2.1, how soon it is coming, how much content it is going to bring, and that every 3 months there will be a major patch means you should just stop complaining about there being not enough content.
It's coming... and soon.

World Transfers:
- Complete joke it took so long but first half of this month apparently, thank god.

Posting About A Feature/Mechanic That Might Make You Not/Cancel Subscription:
- no one cares...

I will update this once or twice a day with all the problems and my solutions to them posted either on this thread or in the General Discussion board.

It's heaps simple and i've seen botters vanish within 48 hours, maximum a week usually.

I just want people to read this before writing up some post like "I'm level 50, don't want to gather or craft, gil is too hard to make!"

People will still "complain" about this game, you pretty much wasted time typing this all out.
And lol @ The gil earning and the reporting system. Yoshi already said that there is no real way to make gil and apologizes when people asked about housing and it's cost. The games gear hands out things like it is candy from quest to quest, crafting is meh unless max level.
If the game wouldn't hand you things on a silver platter I feel like crafting would be much more useful than it is now.

It's not up to you or me to decide what is appropriate content for 'general discussion' or not. If you have a different or opposite opinion to what's being presented, sure, go ahead and share it, but at least try to be respectful about it.

This thread is the complete opposite of that. Not only do you come off as arrogant with this 'I am here to tell you what it's about so we no longer have to have any more back and forth', but in the process also insult anyone who might not share your opinion.
