Why you should buy the PS3 version and not the PC version of this game

I have never played on a console. Won't do it. I support PC games only. I will never play console games. I wanted to play FF many years ago and couldn't because I won't support console gaming. It is destroying PC gaming. So hard to find any PC games now when you go to the computer stores...99% console games. Annoying...I have supported PC since the 80's and won't use a console.

Other than that it's overtaking the market, what exactly is so bad about consoles that you simply can't support it? I'm curious because I've played both on PC and Consoles and support both. They're just different gaming platforms with their own pros and cons. I know statistically console gaming is far outweighing PC gaming but it still seems like an irrational reason to not play on a console since you can support both.

Also, I'm sure there are emulators out there for the older FF games for you to play on the PC! c:

PC games will be around for just as long as console games, after all... its PC's that console games are developed on ^^ Sony released a version of the PS many moons ago (Developers Version) which allowed users to connect it to there PC to develop games.. needless to say, this was epic fail & was way over priced.

The simple thing is, game dev's will always release big titles on as many formats as possible as each format = profit, only thing stopping them is copyright licensing on certain titles to only allow it to be released on that format.

That's exactly it...it's overtaken PC gaming. Games that I like to play are superior on PC...I'm sure some games are more suited to a console...and that's all great...but I still want to play my RPG's and my Mystery-type games (Tex Murphy) on the PC...It's just depressing to see nearly 0 games on the shelf for PC anymore.

I have my PS3 controller synced to my Gaming Laptop through Bluetooth.
I also have a USB keyboard for chat [though rarely used ].

I plug my laptop into my 42" TV.

Looks fantastic. Plus I heard it's lower FPS and choppier graphics on the ps3 to compensate.

I'm the opposite. I hate playing on PC. I hate sitting at a computer for hours on end. I do it all day at work, I'm not going to go home and do it there, too. If I can't play it on a console, I won't play it. The last time I played a game on PC was Myst.
