See, the problem with the shout "Elitists" is the fact that they are non-discriminatory and factor out player skill in making their decisions in choosing members imo. Full DL Gear dosent mean much, sometimes it can even be contrary to what you are trying to achieve because that person may have just rode the CM train all the way up for 3 days and can't dodge anything or play their job at all. Also; these PT leads will see guys like me rolling around in 3 peices of lv 55 gear on my monk and auto label me a scrub; not taking into account any other factors (the fact its HQ is stacked full of crit+ and det+ materia) that could indicate that person cares enough to do their job. All just to take another guy who has full 70 stuff who will still die to not even plumes, but bombs. The elitism is just a sour smell left behind by the lack of sense some people have; and that's the most frustrating part of it all

I had a guy insult me for not having the right gear for a dungeon. He was the only one who had done it before, so he could've left, but he chose to stay and insult us for not being decked out in Darklight gear. There is elitism on this game, unfortunately, but expected.

It is not insulting to want players to pull their fair share in party. Yeah if they join the duty finder and pug and get an undergeared player then proceed to berate him that is elitist. But shouting you want geared players(only if your geared yourself which isn't the case in most cases you see that) is not elitist they do not want their time wasted by someone either too bad or lazy to get the gear. What is inconsiderate is joining primal hard modes with level 45 quest gear on and 30 jewelry. What is inconsiderate is going into a group with no idea how to play your class properly. Is so many pugs I have seen doing the most disrespectful shit I have ever seen in a P2P mmo. Afk every pull or long afks to "walk the dog" or "mom agro". It is not just your time when you party it is everyone's time.

you try doing titan with people with less than full darklight and at least garuda weapons. There are some battles you cant win on hopes and dreams alone, you need the gear to back it up. Yes yes, i know gear isnt everything and gear does not = skill.

If you think you need full DL and garuda wep to do titan hm then you are very bad at this game. Not a single person in the party needs to be full darklight, not even close. All you need is enough damage to get past the heart, rest of the fight you just need to dodge, no dps check or anything else.
Sure you should have some darklight, and definitely not have AF gear anymore, but you can easily beat titan without being fully decked with DL.

It's not even hard to Get DL, so don't see why people don't have it. Cap myth every week in AK and run a castrum or 2 and you'll get a piece or 2 of DL every week. Unless your crazy like some people I know and you run all 40 CM's Back to back over 3 days....

You know what bothers me the most. The fact that I need a primal weapon for titan. So I can't do end game because I have no luck. I need to farm for another month for a weapon I use once. I have my GC weapon, but because I'm not lucky I don't get my relic. How is that fair?

Its not like I haven been trying 50+ on ifrit, 20+ on garuda.

Where's the fun in treating the game like a job? Also the DL heavy armour looks awful, I'll stick to my AF and avoid endgame until cosmetic slots are out.
