    Armorer or Carpenter?

    What should I do next?
Which one is the least played and is therea big profit difference between those two?
Also I should have miner and GSm lvl 50 soon, which one is easier with those?

I know armorer looks like a logical choice for a soonish 50 miner and gsm but seems like with the housing, carp is going to be the next shit and moreover it looks like theres not too many carps unlike gsms or other classes.

    What do you think?

personally i think the biggest money maker will always b the crystals/shards u need for crafting ;/

i got all my crafters around 20-30 currently but my culinarin foods always sell super fast... guess it really comes down to preference n what ppl r chasing

I see you have not unlocked Carpenter at all. You should level it at least to 15, because Rumination is worth it. Culinarian for Hasty Touch, Leatherworker for Waste Not, and Alchemist for Tricks of the Trade should all be considered as well.

You'll get more out of Carpenter than Armourer, or so I hear.

But yeah, carpenter is so much better, easier, and cheaper, if you do have botanist leveled though.

Go CRP. I hear Byregot's Blessing is the best Lv50 skill for HQ'ing.

Carpenter gets byregots, which is really the best thing about it. At 50 you can make militia offhands for weaving and goldsmithing, and the relic item for Bard and dragoon. But that's about it. I haven't had any requests for 2 star carpentry items at all, so aside from making hq Spruce and doing melds I dont personally see a lot of income directly through carpentry. This may change once furniture comes out.

Armorer, on the other hand, has the worst cross class skills. Entirely useless, imo. But it has a few great things in its 1 and 2 star catalog. The 2star chest and legs, unlike other 2 star recipes are entirely reasonable, which makes them relatively popular crafts. They both cost 9 tome items, but each covers 2 slots. The pre50 crafts, aside from ingots and rivets aren't great sellers though, at least on my realm.

I would guess that carpentry is the more competitive of the two on any realm simply because its level 50 skill is so great any serious crafter has it at 50.

The armorer cross-class skill is more of a hail-Mary for synths gone wrong. More than a few times already I've used it save a synth where I need >2 basic synth and one of them failed and I don't have the 15 CP for the standard synth and not enough durability. It's not something you use often. But I'm sure glad I have it.

I'm leveling both and find that CRP needs a lot of ingots for leveling up leves with lances/spears. If you already have blacksmith I'd recommend going crp. But if you want to save money leveling CRP you might want to level ARM too. But I think you can probably make more money leveling armorer.

I'd look to Carpentry for when Housing gets introduced. Assuming there will be a market for furniture.

If you rely on Armorer skills, you will probably have punched through several LCDs by the time you got to 50.

Armorer's 50 skill, Piece by Piece, might be used situationally as a first step for synthing on 2-star recipes with difficult progress bars, and it's up to you if the grind is worth it. (50 ARM here and never used it) ... Rapid Synthesis is good but you can do fine without it. Carpenter skills are much more useful.
