copy and paste from chat window

i posted this on general discussion, just wanna toss it here too.

i have tried highlighting withmouse and pressing control C. I do get a prompt sound and my chatbox does openup.however, i can't seem to copy and paste the things i have highlighted.

i can, however, copy smth from my browser and padte in-gamr. i can also cut and paste the things i have typed myself. i just cant seem to copy yhe already-existing things in the chatlog.

Since we are here, does anyone know how to do that with the PS3 in mouse control mode? I've got as far as selecting thing.

you don't normally get a prompt sound for doing control+c to copy stuff. Is your control+c bound to some key/function? Hence you could paste with control+v without issues?

Also control+c is really crappy at the moment especially if your log keeps scrolling up with new entries.

The same - just use CTRL+C/V to copy paste, you can also select text by holding shift and using arrow keys on keyboard.

whatever I copy and paste in game, I cannot paste it outside the game into my browser or whatever.
Anyone know whats up with that?
I copy paste a link someone typed in FC - cannot paste to browser but I can paste it just fine in the in-game chat.

No, I meant using the PS3 controller in mouse mode (L1+R3). I can select the text but then I don't know how to copy it.

There are copy / paste functions in the default PS3 on screen keyboards however as I'm always using the external keyboards I'm not sure this is included in ARR as well - I can try it today when I get back home.
