    The book of release dates at GameStop has XIV releasing in November of 2011.

    Oh, and also, FFXI you could play on Xbox 360, but if Xbox Live was down, you couldn't go online and play.

    The only reason GameStop says November 2011 is because it's a placeholder so people can start pre-ordering. That's the only reason unfortunately. If they had a legit release date for the PS3 release, you'd hear it from SE, not GameStop lol.

    I honestly don't see the PS3 version being ready until Q1 2012..but I could be wrong! and I'm hopeful that I am. I'm actually really hopeful they might show something at E3 and just treat it as a clean slate or something. Hopefully. Hope hope hope..

    Also Kai you said you don't see ps3 version being ready til Q1 2012 and the mistake there is the game was already announced it was 100% complete and will be receiving all the same patches that come out on PC as they come out, so all they have to do is decide the game is worthy of of Pay 2 play and then they will release it.
