Error R6025 Issues

Now, I didn't have this problem once in the open beta. I recently was able to finally purchase FF14 and this has been happening a lot to me. I've done research and it all seems like guessing. Some say to reinstall the client, some say update Direct X, some say it could be your AMD processor, some say you need to do a full install of windows again (no thanks) and some say it's caused by a virus.

These posts were over 2 months ago now, so I'm wondering if there's any clarity on this error as of yet. I'm currently in the process of reinstalling FF14 and patching it.

I've been told by a friend who has experience with programming that this error should not even occur in FF14, so now I'm very curious. He said in laymen's terms that the game is trying to contact a specific code in the game that doesn't exist. When the game finds out it doesn't exist, it just completely shuts down I guess out of a logic loop because it assumes the code is true.
