Actually, i'm all for keeping the game with the Final Fantasy Feel, but I do believe that a PvP Server will do them good. I wouldn't mind starting a character on that server myself, and I am strongly against PvP, but for the sake of having something different in the Final Fantasy Series, they should make the Player-Companies (whenever they are introduced) hold PvP content, and fight battles against each other, as how clans worked in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance/2.
In fact, there should even be a way to to this in the normal PvE servers.. Company vs Company would be very similar to the FFTA Clans vs Clans. Would be a great addition to the game. Whether it be like Ballista on open field or Colosseum Competitions. Would be great to have this. Specter Mode would be just a godly addition for making video of said battles.
I just want to go up to someone and kill them. No strings attached. I want a fling, a dalliance, im too young for a fullblown relationship just yet.
just let me kill someone, omg.
how hard can it be?
Well I imagine it would start with me unsheathing my weapon and hitting someone over the head with it.
I don't mean to spoil the ending, but it finishes with me looting their corpse and dancing on their grave.
Upon the last tortoise spewed forth a galleon of imbercrusted flames and lo did that tortoise hearken upon his sollow comrads in the midst of this twisted and vile tower.
I'm just wondering, have you even played any offline Final Fantasy games? If you had, you might begin to understand what a downright absurd idea that is for this franchise.
Seriously, if open hardcore PvP is what you want, you should look elsewhere. Something like DAOC or Lineage 2 would be a much better fit for you. Granted, you'll get pwned pretty fast by other players who will dance on your grave, etc... but at least you'll be in familiar company.
