You absolutely do not need end-game gear to run CM or Prae. Anyone who gives you crap can piss off, especially if you're in a DF group.

Anything but Titan and AK you can do as a fresh 50, even AK 1 DL item and Ifrit or Garuda weapon will do.
CM is story, it's meant to be downed by people in af gear and level 40 something rings/wrist/ex.

do what i do, if they don't like it they're free to leave.
CM, Prae, Ifrit can all be easily done with AF1 gear, just make sure you have lvl 47-49 accessories and a decent weapon.
If the people doing DF are so damn concerned about the gear people are using then they are free to form a premade on their server, otherwise screw em and their wanna be "elitist" attitude.

CM and Prae are story dungeons, they're meant to be done with AF1 at least.

See that's what I thought. It was understandable if I tried to join a group via Shout, but the people that were getting angry were ones I went through the DF to find.

Thanks for clearing that up, I'll stick to DF for a while and get those tomes.
