Bots are now teleporting from mob to mob.

Wow that's crazy. I have never seen anything like what is happening in FFXIV in any other mmo. The only bots I knew of in FFXI was fishing bots that would fish forever by them selves and bots that would camp monsters and auto attack them.

My first experience with bots out of control with an MMO was early FFXI, when it launched NA. There were so many bots down by the water constantly fishing (they generated gil by selling fish and iron stuff to a vendor, and completely repeatable quests). It was one reason I left.

Since it's so obvious how badly they undercut, produce so much volume and flood the market, I assume those who support them must RMT/bot themselves. They destroy an economy very quickly, especially when they get out of control.

I've reported a lot of bots since yesterday, six at only one level 5 node. Most fleece areas have two or three minimum.

It's endless bots. Sick of seeing them.
