i love the warrior class it fun as hell to play but as a tank alot of players rather have a pld as there mt. takes less to heal a pld which = less hate for the healer. war as a mt takes much more heals which = more hate for the healer = a harder time.
been trying for titan hm got a bunch of dl gear that don't help nothing at all in titan hm. try to get in a premade for titan hm lol yeah..war lf titan pld lf titan there gona pick the pld every time.
the only other way i can think of to get in a group for titan is get full ilvl90 gear and hope that helps.
but as of now i cant progress any more with the war, so its going on the back burner and ill roll another class. sad day for me i hope something gets fixed or just turn the war into a dps class.

Don't get too discouraged. Just have fun playing the class you like. If someone says PLD is not good as WAR just swing your axe at them.

People get Bravuras all the time so you can do it. Changing the way you play to please others is no way to go through life.... er... in-game.

I feel the same way, but I'm not going to reroll. No other class in the game interests me. After no one wanting to join groups with a warrior main tank, no one wanting to take a WAR along with a group because they already have a PLD and only want one tank, outright being ignored because of the class, unable to find a FC that does Titan, and numerous failures through duty finder because people can't stay alive via dodging, it's really frustrating. I've currently joined a FC and am helping them gear up through Garuda and stuff so that we can fight Titan together, but being stuck for weeks on this fight through no fault of my own is frustrating, and combined with the stigma against WAR I just may not stick with the game as I'm not progressing or having any fun not progressing.

Noone wants a WAR main tank because of all the crybaby WARs QQing all the time about how bad their class is. They do it so much that people are actually convinced by the baddies that WAR isn't viable tanking any content when they're completely fine.

Speaking of which, the problem is not viability but undesireability for raiding by being a sub-optimal choice. L2read.

The problem is that people are complaining (and they are right to do so because warriors do need a some help) because going to coil and raiding undergeared showed some flaws in the design of warrior.
The problem is that people pick this up and suddenly the "Well warrior kinda sucks as mt for coil after turn 3" turns into "mimimi warrior can't mt a single mob in this game".
Which is fucking stupid because you can use a warrior just fine for that. But if the tank forum is all over how people think warrior sucks then people pick that up and suddently every lvl 26 jewelry scrub think he can tell a warrior he sucks and can't tank even AK...

Getting into Titan hm as tank is its own story anyway. The best bet is join a FC and get buddies to help or make your own group and set the rules.

I am actually rolling a warrior right now because 1) i want to see what all the QQ is about. 2) Yoshi stated that warriors may be even stronger then paladins and the community has not figured them out yet (kind of think this is his way of blowing off warrior changes). 3) banking on either mrd or gld to have DRK as their dps class
