Got hacked, what happens to my account?

I'm having similar issues with getting this resolved as other people on the forum. I have a question though.

I've submitted a request to get my stuff back through the recovery form submission, however didnt receive reply or notification they got it or anything of course. What happens if I play they game currently?

Will any stuff I accumulated now get reset to the time I reported the hack? What if I make a new character, will that get wiped as well? I've heard it takes around 2 weeks to get it fixed if at all. So should I just wait and hope they'll respond and repair my account before playing again? Also my included play time may expire by then, so I guess i'd have to subscribe. I was starting to get into this game, sad someone had to ruin it =(.
