Gil Buyers!?!?!?

if you check my levels in my classes you would notice I am also a 50 weaver, 48 gsm, and like 31 miner n 27 fisher. I am all over the place, with 2 level 40 whm n scholar/summoner n 50 paladin. I was not one of those people but at least by the time I hit 50 I had 500k gil after selling allagans from quest rewards n getting my gear through dungeons from open beta and early access playing. I know how to play but some I have watched and have not used a few of these tactics and I ain't asking are they cheating when I know some who really are cheating.

I am asking is there a way for SE to look back and say yeah they bought gil cause they received this much from this person who got this much from this person and boom connected to gil farmer... or so on, like is there a way for them to track it, in investigation, not to hear people who don't know how people cheat by buying gil, cause I had money once upon a time to waste myself and bought gold in other mmo's n tons of them but do things legit cause I got caught and noticed it was more waste then benefit and I know that the previous mmo's I did it on caught me even after I stopped, so I want to know if SE does deep investigation and punishes these individuals. think people are getting a bit off track and more defensive.

Exactly, they not not likely to waste their time crafting, but usually want to get right into "end game" stuff.

your missing the whole point... I know what I have used buying gold or whatever for in mmo's and I never used it for buying gear. I used it to progress in crafting cause I have always loved crafting then the actual gameplay and making stuff... people getting off subject to defend just a investigation of peoples account -_-

In all honesty, its(the responses being the way they were) probably because of how your op was worded.
With the additional info you've added, I'd suggest just sending in an ingame ticket and asking them to investigate, thats about all you can really do.

I have done that and was wondering if anyone heard word of it. Even if the way its stated... people kind of need to read something before replying... its like reading the news... you don't get news from reading a title but reading the content..

IF they are really buying gil and have, they will be left active to further trace, then eventually when the net push comes be banned. THey don't ban right away for a reason.

Far as I can tell it's quite rampant.

But who can blame them....getting gil legit is pretty darned hard in this game. It's almost as if it was designed for RMT abusers in mind.

First off, "no DoM/DoW/gathering classes above level 5" is impossible, you can't take a crafting class until 10.

In 1.0 you could start as a DoH/L, from level 1. That's the only thing i can think, is they are legacy, but then would probably have a DoW/M just because.

On reddit, there was a thread that had people talking if they got banned for buying gil. Some talked about having bought tens of millions, or much, much more, and not even getting a warning. Many also used mule accounts, that they would then send to their mains. Not sure if it's the same now, since Square bans in waves, but i do believe Square is one of the harsher ones to ban. And even with mules and such, they can track it pretty easily.

Non legacy - 7.8m, no gathering classes. If you count the gil I've spent buying materia for melds and tome items, I probably had over 10m gil in total.

Thanks, Titan sale buyers. Our group must have fitted well over 200 players with their shiny relics over the past two weeks. Funny thing is I think I've only seen the Titan Heart drop four times in all those runs.
