    Gear Variety in the Future

    Hi everyone,

    Just wanted to start a discussion around future gear attributes that will provide a variety of options that people may or may not want. Some of the ideas that I have are as follows (centered around CNJ/WHM but some ideas may transfer over to other classes):

    - Cure Potency +%
    - Increase Regen Duration
    - Further Increase Stoneskin Effect +%
    - +1 Cross Class Skill Slot
    - Increase Protect Potency +%

    They had this idea in 1.0.
    They removed this from the game.
    I doubt it will make a return within the next year or two. (If it makes its return at all).

    They could of used it to buff warrior or other underpowered classes.

    The developers actually said L2P in regards to that. The dev team plays warriors just fine and says players are using it wrong.

    But I completely agree with the OP and your idea for adding balance to characters that may need it. I would like to see this in game.

    Well not that it will change anything but to that end, let's come up with some more ideas.

    Warrior could have things like (don't know enough about WAR so these may be dumb):
    - Constant 5-10% of damage dealt Heal from Attacks
    - Maim grants 5% Life steal
    - Skull Sunder Combo also inflicts 20% Blind (really "Dizzy" effect but I imagine mob accuracy/player evasion mechanic being roughly the same as blind)

    It was already stated back in beta that things such as enhancing ability stats, or +% cure potency will return on gear once they are happy with how the stats and stat progression on gear pans out.

    Yeah I'm hoping these sorts of things do make a return. I do like how they made it so you can't change gear during fight though haha. As a former RDM, I always thought it was goofy how in order to play my job right, I was constantly blinking. Either way, what are some other idea's we'd like to see?

    For GLD/PLD we could have things like:

    - Provoke Now has 5 or 10 ylm radius
    - Increase Bulwark Duration to 20s
    - Shield Lob add Slow Effect

    Running out of ideas because for GLD/PLD because A) i'm only 15 on that and B) i hear its already pretty much good to go
