Levequest Problem!

Hello. I recently created a Marauder and leveled him to 15. I then went to the gladiator guild and signed up to get started on my Warrior job unlock. Now, leveling the gladiator is a pain, which I thought it could get better by completing levequests, but the levemete issuers are not talking to me. I can't grab a levequest from any of them. Horizon levemete issuer is not giving any quests, and neither are any others when I switch back to Marauder. Do I have to hit a certain level with the Marauder first before I can levequest with the Gladiator? That seems to be the only obstacle I can think of at the moment. I appreciate any information others may have.

From what I remember, you need to complete a quest first given by the levemete in the Adventurer's Guild of your starting nation (if you started as MRD that would mean it would be the Limsa Lominsa one) before you can do levequests (when you did the level 10 story quest for your starting nation the proprietor of the Adventurer's Guild would have mentioned this person wants to speak to you). This person will send you to speak to a levemete in a specific camp, who will then issue you a trial levequest. Completing this leve will complete this quest also, and then unlock levequests completely.

It's rather convoluted I know, but hopefully this has helped.
