Crafting/Gathering system aiding RTM

Hi i do quite a bit of crafting got carpenter to lvl 44 and armorer to 43 with a few others in the mid 30's, and from what i can see the current system actully goes out of its way to aid RMT/gil sellers.

how you might ask the answer like a lot of people doing crafting will tell you is shards.

I go can go through over 2000 shards in a day crafting (yes i am that sad) and most the time i just cant justify spending hours upon hours mining shards for what 40 exp per node so i like many others buy them off the market yes some are going to be from honest players but also a lot of them will be from bot's/RMT. shards only require lvl 1 to mine and you use a ton of them at high lvl crafting

there is a simple solution use shards for crafting for items lvl 1-25 crystals 26-45 and clusters 45+

Alchemist used to be leveled with crystals. It played a role in the game.

That solution won't work. RMT bots will simply grind up to the required levels farming shards, once they have the level the bots will move on to crystals and the RMT will plant new bots for shards, and so on and so forth, all it will do is give the bots more gil as they sell the more expensive crystals/clusters, and make it more expensive on crafters, way more expensive (and as far as I can see, not a lot of crafters take into account the value of shards when they list the items for sale on the AH either).

True RMT bots will grind the next lvl while it is gonna be next to imposable to eradicate RMT bots compleatly with a little tweak to the shard/crystal exp it would at least make it worthwhile for the honest player to mine them. more honest people willing to mine the less gil the RMT bots make and thus aids in controlling the problem.

RMT bots (and non RMT bots) have a huge advantage, they can work constantly 24/7, if they tweaked the XP it may make people go out and mine up shards (I'd love to, I use too many too) but the bots have advantage in numbers too so can constantly undercut legitimate players.

The only true, real solution to removing RMT is by ensuring no one purchases gil, if the RMT make no money they move on. The solution SE has gone for is to make the current "best" gear dungeon drops, and below that CM grinding, but there are lazy people who may find they would rather dungeon than spend 30k gil on item X or Y, or maybe they went for the crafted 2 star gear and want material, instead of grinding up the gil they hit the RMT websites. The only real solution to that is to ban the people who buy gil forever and go after them with a passion as in banning them within 20 minutes of them buying gil.

i miss crafting shards as an alchemist...it was fun. i ran out of shards i make more from crystals, i needed crystals i made them from clusters. was nice, made those things useful, made me some gil on people who needed shards, crystals could make i think like 10 shards each or so and more if you HQ it.
bring that back!
