I ignore people who demand such things, let people enjoy the game don't be so selfish asking them to skip content. Learn some patients or GTFO, thats my moto.

Dont forget CM cutscenes are deadly, when i ask to skip them its to not wipe (which could cause people to leave).
This is bad game design and not to blame entirely on players.

This really, there is no reason they can't intro cut scene when you do the duty finder update quest.

i've tried watching the CM cutscenes in the inn. None of the dungeon cutscenes work for me.

Not to dismiss OP, I agree, but another solution is to shout for a group that wants to do it for the story. I've done this a few times for people in my LS/FC and will sometimes join the shouts that I see just to help. We've actually gotten people who have done it before themselves, but would like to do it again for the story or just to help out. You make a lot of friends this way. DF is very erratic right now, but they plan on making it easier to pick and choose what you are going in for, which is a nice option.

Have people forgotten what the hell they are playing? This isn't Korean Dungeon Hunter Online 2013. This is an rpg based on a long standing RPG franchise. This isn't Final Fantasy: Online. This is a numbered title in a sequential series. Important enough to have its own place among legendary games like FFIV and even everyone's favorite FF VII. This is something fans treasure, and yet people come in here and treat the experience like it's just, another mmo.

Just another quest. Another dungeon grind. Mechanically, this may be what it is... but for that person going through the game for the first time, this is Final Fantasy. Just because you forgot doesn't mean you should take that away from them.
