HQ base ingredients are too expensive to sell and too rare to use, most people use base ingredients to craft a crafted ingredient and hope its HQ.

Need to learn proper crafting technique and get some proper gear for your lvl to be able to make the most out of normal ingredients, HQ base ingredients are only a must at lvl 50.

With the proper cross-skills you can HQ from NQ mats a 90%+ of the time, you have to be really unlucky for it to fail.

As others have posted, the way things are currently is fair. It is not botting or cheating it is just the name of the game. If you don't like that others can kill mobs faster or claim more efficiently then perhaps you should level your job higher. I've seen many a summoner lay some fire on the ground where sheep spawn so that they may claim them instantly when they spawn. If there is any way that is dirty that would be it, but they are not doing anything that the game doesn't allow so technically it isn't cheating or breaking ToS. My issue right now is the bots that have popped up that teleport between mobs. I've had good luck getting about 95% of the claims using my BLM but I wish there was actually a GM in this game that could put a stop to it.

Don't bully your way in. It's inconsiderate, and it's not your "fair share" if someone else is there first.
Wait for a quiet part, (it should vary on your server's timezones) get some fleece, and go to Whitebrim. Make tights. Reward is 15fleece/leve.
It is doable using the leves. Very much so, actually.

There's no option to "wait" and not bully.. when it's camped 24 hours on a server.

MMO Fun is like New Coke like that, except people are still paying to play such rubbish. MMO players; nowhere near as prudent as the mainstream consumer market, prone to paying to do things it does not enjoy and thinking anyone that decides anything important cares much, if at all, about anything except their money.

I'm in the wrong market. My clients expect their service to be excellent out they'll go somewhere where it is. Need to get me in on the mmo consumer market cause hey, I bet the op didn't suspend their sub for their dissatisfaction.

I wish my clients were that dumb and inert. I wouldn't have to work so hard to keep them happy, especially if all they ever really did was cry on forums I never had to look at. If my clients had the same brainless way about thresh, ye gods, I'd be on easy street.

On second thought...nah. I like my industry. Clients that demand quality work and literally won't tolerate mere adequacy if anything better exists are something I can be proud to have.

Most on this, or any, mmo forum? Just about no degree of mediocrity or inadequacy can run a good many of you off. It might get you angry, but most of you will tolerate just about anything, and even go to bat defending it if your friends are doing it.

Short version: don't tolerate such things. Suspend your sub and tell them why. Speak any other language and they really don't care that much.
