Okay maybe this is too much of a noob question, but I read people saying we need to click off regen. How do you do that? I thought buffs go off on their own. Also I play on a ps 3 but can use mouse and keyboard.

you will need to hit the select button till you get to the top of the screen where your buffs are.
its to much work to be honest on ps3. whm needs to know when to use it and how to use it correctly
Yeah, it's probably more cumbersome to do on PS3. On PC, you can just right click the buff icon.
Out of curiosity, would it be possible to make a macro that ends a buff you have?
Couldn't you, and wouldn't it be easier to, turn on your mouse pointer and click it off rather than pressing selecting until you get up to the buffs?
Yeah I play on PS3 and it irks me when I get regen stacked on me right before a pull. I have a mouse and KB sitting next to me on my coffee table, but its quite annoying when everything is not easy access.
It will happen sometimes when a WHM regens you at the end of an encounter s/he is expecting to last longer, but if they are regening you pre-pull you need to politely tell them the difficulties it creates (WHM will pull aggro of any mobs not flashed/CoS'ed/OP'ed on the way back to the group).
The alternative is rush all mob groups, hit your AE aggro immediately, and stack it a few times before going into normal enmity generation.
